Case Study: How To Transition To Remote Work

Background Information:

This was one of many eLearning courses that made up Remote University. This corporate university is an internal training program for managers and independent contributors at Trilogy Enterprises. Here are the skills and tools used:

The Problem:

Before COVID-19, most people had no experience joining and succeeding at a 100% remote company like Trilogy Enterprises. This caused many new employees to struggle with social isolation, burnout, and low productivity. Their failure to adapt to a virtual workplace also created high job turnover and massive project failure.

The Solution:

So, the senior leaders at Trilogy decided to revamp their training program. This new program will include units and modules dedicated to achieving work-life balance when working remotely.

I was a part of a small team responsible for creating the curriculum and content for this training program. I also worked with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop text-based, virtual, and eLearning educational content for new independent contributors. 

One of the training programs I developed was an eLearning course explaining the differences between remote and on-site work environments.
